Let’s Talk about Spray Foam Roof Coatings
Let me try and explain how we install a Spray Foam Roof, The number 1 thing is to make sure that the roof is free of debris. If there is any type of debris left on the roof, it will cause problems on down the line. Then we will want to seal all of your seams, as that is the #1 place that a roof will leak. We also want to make sure that we use Kwik Kaulk on all of your fasteners, and on any pipes that you may have coming out of your roof.
A primer will be applied to the whole roof, to ensure adhesion. Then a Base Coat is then applied over the entire surface. When the spray foam goes down, it is fun to watch the person applying it. As the tip of their shoes will become covered with the foam, and it keeps building up. I think it’s kinda neat to watch this. But onto the next step. The final coat adds reflection and protects the underlying system. By using this system on your roof, you will be saving money on air conditioning.
Do you have a Metal Roof?
Well we can Restore it!
Conklin’s Metal Restoration System is a complete waterproofing system for metal roofs. Again the first step is always the most important step. Rust off will be applied, and a stiff bristle broom will be used to scrub the roof. Then we will rinse it off thoroughly.
Once your roof has been prepped we will apply a rust inhibitor to it, and make sure that everything is sealed properly. Which includes the seams, and the fasteners. Once that is completed we will spray the final coat on the roof to insure that you now have a leak proof roof.
